Primary Source
1. From Bongars, Gesta Dei per Francos, 1, pp. 382 f., trans in Oliver J. Thatcher, and Edgar Holmes McNeal, eds., A Source Book for Medieval History, (New York: Scribners, 1905), 513-17.
This source helped me because it gave me a letter from the crusades to the pope. It also gave me a look on how things were doing in those times from the letter. Also it gave me a little bit of history. Overall it was a great source to have.
2.James Harvey Robinson, ed., Readings in European History: Vol. I: (Boston:: Ginn and co., 1904), pp.316-318
This source helped me because this source was part of someones diary and it showed an insight of what was going on and what were the conditions in those times and places. Also it gave an insiders view of what they were doing.
3. August. C. Krey, The First Crusade: The Accounts of Eyewitnesses and Participants, (Princeton: 1921), 57
This source was very helpful because it wasn’t a book, diary, or letter it was an eyewitness account of someone who had witnessed the crusades and someone who not only witnessed but was apart of and lived it. This source was many pages long so for sources 3,4,5,6, it is the same response to all of them because he gave the same account for everything but he had different parts to tell so im using the same response. The only thing to really separate the sources 3,4,5,6, without reading them is to look at the page numbers.

7.Jacob Marcus, The Jew in the Medieval World: A Sourcebook, 315-1791, (New York: JPS, 1938), 115-120.
This source was tremendously helpful because it gave the perspective of someone not Christian in the crusades and also it shows how the jews felt about this because you have two different groups; you have the muslims and you have the Christians and there fighting and it just shows the view of someone else. I am so grateful that I found this source because it was excellent.
